Existing treat machines use standard kibble or just one high value treat. Raising a particularly stubborn Sheltie (Hi Pixie) frustrated us so much that we invented a treat machine that can reward sausages, or cheese, or both!

• Rechargeable – you can choose between 1-3 18650 batteries to include in your device (and you can upgrade later) . No more need to buy C or D batteries every week. Just slide the unit, take it with you and recharge it, no need to carry the whole device home.
• Multiple remote options – you can connect to it with your phone and reward, have it connect to a wireless network (you can set up to 5 networks so if you turn it on at home, office, car, training field it connects automatically and you can reward with your computer or phone), you can use a standard 433Mhz remote that you can pair to the 433 version, or you can buy our “Smart” Remote that connects to it, has 50% more range than the 433Mhz remote, shows battery level, treats remaining, can turn the sound on / off, refill and change platter size.
• Multiple platter sizes: L; for your big snout dogs, with 9 useable slots, M for your medium dogs with 15 useable slots and S for crate treats that fall down in the crate, with 21 small useable slots. (by usable we mean that 1 slot is always open and we’re not counting it).
• Temperature and sound sensors: The sensor version will send noise and temperature information to the server via WIFI and you can check on them at will.

You can easily connect to the TR8  WIFI  Access Point and give treats, see information, configure wifi and remote options. You can easily use it with no additional remotes.

When connected to another WIFI the TR8 can easily be controlled from anywhere in the world. You can pair it with a IP Camera and manage your crate issues, separation anxiety and general boredom at the office.

The range depends significantly on the location of the receiver. Ground, tall grass, metal crates, car frames, etc. On the ground the 433mhz remote reaches 20-25m, the “Smart” Remote and phone approx. 40meters, off the ground (at about 50cm) and in open field at least 50% longer range. We are using top of the line products in their technologies but are honest about real world conditions.

Food safety: The trays are printed in PETG which is food safe. They are removable and washable including machine washable.
